This guitar is an early example of the work of renowned luthier John D'Angelico. This particular instrument is an excellent condition example of D'Angelico's top of the line "New Yorker" model. It was completed on June 23rd, 1938 for Miller Stephens. It was the 22nd New Yorker produced. The instrument is in fine condition and with the exception of the pickguard it is in all original condition. The top was hand carved from the finest Spruce while it's back, sides and neck are all Curly Maple. The fretboard is African Ebony. OHSC included.
